Key Features

• Mass and Viscosity Measurement: Measures the resonant frequency and resistance of a 5 MHz, AT-cut quartz crystal. The resonant frequency changes linearly with the mass of material deposited on the crystal surface, and the resistance changes with the viscosity/elasticity of the material in contact with the crystal.
• High Sensitivity: Can measure mass ranging from micrograms to fractions of a nanogram, with detection limits corresponding to submonolayers of atoms.
• Rugged and Versatile Design: Includes a compact and easy-to-use crystal holder, suitable for both liquid and gas environments. The holder can handle heavy loads up to 5 k?, making it ideal for lossy films and highly viscous liquids.
• Automatic Gain Control: Ensures the quartz crystal receives the necessary signal amplitude to achieve series resonance and monitor energy dissipation.
