The HP 34970A is a high performance, low cost data acquisition and switching mainframe ideal for data logging, data acquisition, and general purpose switching and control applications. It consists of a half-rack mainframe with an internal 6 1/2 digit (22 bit) digital multimeter. Three module slots are built into the rear of the unit to accept a combination of switch and control modules.
