It enhances the oscilloscope’s capabilities by enabling comprehensive triggering and analysis on I²C and SPI serial buses. This module simplifies the debugging of complex serial communication by providing robust tools for packet-level inspection and analysis.

1. Automated Serial Triggering and Decode:
   • Triggers on all critical elements of I²C and SPI buses, such as addresses, data content, and unique identifiers.
   • Decodes each message’s critical elements, eliminating the need for manual counting of 1s and 0s.
2. Advanced Search and Analysis Tools:
   • Enables searching through long acquisitions using user-defined criteria to find specific messages.
   • Includes a search mark table that provides a tabular view of the events found during an automated search.
   • Event table shows decoded serial bus activity in a tabular, time-stamped format for a quick summary of system activity.
3. Data Export Capabilities:
   • Export search mark table data and event table data to .csv files for further analysis and reporting.
4. Enhanced Bus Display and Decoding:
   • Provides a high-level, combined view of individual bus signals, making it easy to identify packet components.
   • Displays decoded packet values in hex, binary, or ASCII formats directly on the bus waveform, simplifying the analysis process.
5. Compatibility:
   • Compatible with Tektronix MSO4000B, DPO4000B Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes series.
